Cloud features send only the text you're working on — never audio. With YOURIO AI it goes through our server to OpenAI (Google as a backup) and is not stored; with your own key it goes straight to your provider. Ask Memory sends only the records you approve.

Questions
Is my voice uploaded?
No. Speech recognition runs on your phone by default, and YOURIO never saves audio. Only when you use Enhanced Magic, Edit or Ask Memory is text — not audio — sent to the cloud AI you chose: YOURIO AI, which does not store it, or your own provider.
Do I need an API key?
No. Voice, translation, Memory, Standard Magic and the computer microphone all work without one. For Enhanced Magic, Edit and Ask Memory, sign in to use YOURIO AI (free 2,000 words a week) or add your own key.
Which languages does it speak?
The apps come in English, 繁體中文, 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어, Español, Français, Português, Deutsch, Italiano, Bahasa Indonesia, Nederlands, Türkçe, Tiếng Việt, Polski, ไทย and Русский — and Magic is tuned for each of them.
Can I turn Memory off?
Yes. Memory is optional: turn it off and YOURIO simply types. Private mode pauses saving and learning whenever you need it.
