Questions
Is my voice uploaded?
No. Speech recognition runs on your phone by default, and YOURIO never saves audio. Only when you use Enhanced Magic, Edit or Ask Memory is text — not audio — sent to the AI provider you picked.
Do I need an API key?
No. Voice, translation, Memory, Standard Magic and the computer microphone all work without one. A key unlocks Enhanced Magic, Edit and Ask Memory.
Which languages does it speak?
The apps come in English, 繁體中文, 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어, Español, Français, Português and Deutsch — and Magic is tuned for each of them.
Can I turn Memory off?
Yes. Memory is optional: turn it off and YOURIO simply types. Private mode pauses saving and learning whenever you need it.
